• Payments: handled by our payment provider on its own secure page. We receive confirmation of payment, not your full card number.
• Messages: the name, email, and message you send through the contact form or by email.

• To keep records required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes.
• To prevent fraud and enforce our research-use terms.

Only the providers that help us run the store, such as our payment processor, shipping carriers, and website hosting, and only as needed for them to do that job. We may also disclose information when the law requires it. We do not sell or rent personal information.

The site stores your bag and your research-use confirmation in your own browser so they survive a page refresh. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Messages are kept for as long as needed to resolve them.

You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@houseofclementine.net. Some records may need to be kept for legal reasons.

This site is for adults aged 21 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger.
